Thank you so much!!! It means a lot to have your support! Well...my deadline is in 28 hours....and I still have around 12.000 words to go...I have *no* idea whether I'll make it, but I'll give it my best shot! Actually, this is my 'final draft' deadline, and not my official deadline - which is Thursday the 31st of July at 17:00 - I know I'll make the official one, no doubt about that, but my supervisor wants my final draft and she wants it tomorrow at noon at the latest...so, slave away I shall!

How is your writing going? Hope things have quieted down in your work, so you have more time for your art (I'm still dreaming of chapter 10 )

September?! Wow! I now really wonder how long it will be, since it's already more than 200 pages! Such a pity you have so much work to do and not enough time to write But I'll wait patiently And you're right, it's much better to do a little bit than do nothing at all (I'm trying to put that into practice myself, my deadline is *very* dangerously close and I'm not even half way through yet...whoa )

Chapter 10 keeps growing, even as I type it back into the computer after the first proof. >.< It's sooo long and I can't break it up. It looks like I won't be able to get it finished until September cuz we've been insanely busy at work-all the firefighters have come to pay us a visit and it's just kept me so busy I"m not able to write.
But I'll just keep plugging along. Doing a little bit is better than doing nothing at all.

Heeeey, don't worry *at all* about the delay!! It's taken me ages to reply to your comments, right now I'm literally slaving away at my thesis, less that two weeks left I plan to reply to your comments the moment I'm done with the bloody thing!
I'm glad that Illmatar was so nice to Blitzwing, poor guy deserves it I hope you're doing fine and that chapter 10 is close to completion I consider reading it as my reward for the hours I've spend working mywelf to the ground for my thesis!

Sorry it's taken a MONTH to get back to you about this. Sometimes I just can't get back to messages and email. At least I dont' have so many messages that it'd take me DAYS to reply to them all . . . no, it takes me a while to get organized enough to take care of business. Sheesh.
Anyway, I am also very glad that Illmatar has preserved Blitzwing. She did the chracter a great deal of justice-more so, in fact, than many other writers.

I'm really glad to hear that what I've done with Cyclonus hasn't stretched beyond any boundaries. One thing I do not believe in is changing the character (unless it's for a very good reason). I belive in allowing the character to develop, maybe make changes in habits and decisions. But personality should be kept intact.
Of course, I've broken a rule or two over that: Doublecross, for example. I just got sick and tired of deal with all the masculine characters. Repugnus was going to be changed until someone challeneged me to find out more about him. So . . . I looked up his character definition as described by Bobby B. (Budinsky) and wrote a story around it.
Needless to say Repugnus convinced me not to change him; he's adorable as is

Dang! 4 (four) languages??? How . . . how can you think in all those different ways?? I know a few words and sentances in Spanish (well, Mexican), but that's it. I've worked on creating a language for Koontah's world, but I've not worked on it for a really long time.
As for the twins, the muse recently decided it would be more beneficial to keep Sideswipe, but it'll be a long time before he'll be even remotely like himself again. We (muse and I) decided to give him a friend later on in the story. That'll help.

Void is asking questions about other Autobots around them. It's starting to realize there's more on its dinner plate than just Op and Roddi. And more than that, it *smells* Sunstreaker's misery-which really winds Void's gears, so to speak. The Virus gets very excited and causes all kinds of trouble.

And then it does something to Optimus that all but makes me jump out of my chair . . . yup, chapter 10 is going to be a good one

Oh, hon, I am the QUEEN of late replies! I work full-time and I IM with Jayd and I try to get some artwork done at home and since I have clinical depression, there are times when I will look at my email and messages and just shake my head, telling myself: no way, not today. So no worries about being late . . . you're just evading the inevitable

You know, Screamer fans totally evade me. What's the attraction? My brother loves Starscream. Why? I know of one gal who wrote an exposition about Starscream and Megatron, the system of abuse; she had a very similar relationship and loved Starscream becuase she could identify with him; the need for love yet the weakness to be willing to take abuse for it. In fact, if I see it again on the Lexicon, I'll be sure to post the addy at the Cafe. It's a really well written essay.

But I still dont' see the attraction to such a jerky character.

As long as women have breasts, men will seldom see the female as anything more than a walking vagina that suffers from PMS, postpartum depression and menopause. Sad but true. I don't understand why men in many societies view women as less than human. Don't we have mentality, emotion and artistic abilities? I think men should have been the ones to give childbirth-or at least the first child.

Magnus can be sooooo cute!! But you have to catch him in just the right moment. I think Op can be cute, too, but it's an entirely different kind of cute. Magnus is funny cuz he's so serious that when you throw him for a loop, he really has no clue as to how to deal with it.

I like Galvatron's (temporary) solution to the Daniel problem. But it sorta backfires on Galvatron; it causes a fight between Op and Roddi. (ooops) but like Galvatron said, Roddi was mad only because he didn't think of the solution himself. Illmatar suggested that Daniel might be brain damaged to be such an ass. Well . . . if he were brain damaged, then I'd guess the characters would have to be more patient with him. He sorta reminds me of some kids out there who are so horrible, they're dangerous to their own familys. such cases as a boy who poisoned his family then laughed as they rushed to the hospital.
I dont' want to excuse Daniel for his behavior; I just want him to pay for it.
Or am I just being bitchy and vindictive?
